#14 How to fix a leaking tap

A leaking tap, can drive you nuts, but it is not the end of the world, and you can easily fix this annoying problem yourself. Watch this video on the simple step-by-step process. You will need some spare parts, so check out the video and then organise to get the bits you need. Before you start, check with water authority you’re allowed to go ahead. Then, turn the water off at the mains or you’ll have water everywhere. Screw off the button on the shower tap and expose the body. Use a shifter or ring spanner to twist body of tap off. The video shows you how to dismantle, change the washers and put it back on. finish off with ring spanner and tighten. Remember to turn the tap off before you turn the water back on at the mains!
