Basic introduction to storage hot water systems
Below is a simple rundown of different hot water systems available with photos and system features included!
These first two storage hot water units are ideal for a kitchenette in an office, shop or small cafe.
This is is the smallest size unit that I would install in a home. This is based on my own experience and having a family of four with two young kids. We have a 125L system and during winter we occasionally run out of hot water.
This unit is ideal for small families and bigger commercial applications such as doctor’s surgeries, cafes, or small end of trip facilites with two showers.
The 250L is a recommended storage hot water system size for the average size family.
This hot water system is becoming the standard for the average family as there is little difference in price between the 250L and 315L.
Not too common for an average home but if you have 3-4 bathrooms that are used frequently, the 400L hot water system would be a good choice.
